The Spring app doesn't charge a user if their rental is under 2 minutes. A short rental usually indicates a problem with the scooter or bike. Charging for a bad rental leads to refund requests, chargebacks, and unhappy customers.
But we've found that some operators want to extend or shorten this grace period.
We've moved the grace period to a configurable value in the company configuration. As an operator, you can go to your config page on the admin dashboard and update the gracePeriodSeconds value.
Now when you look at short rentals in the dashboard where the grace period applied, you'll see this:
